I collect pennies. Not just any kind of pennies but pennies that I find when I am traveling, at school , shopping, church, etc. The pennies that I collect are kind like good luck charms that remind me to stay focus and stay on the right path.
This project was about creating a special item for a special object that has personal value. This was my first attempt. It needed a lot of work. I had a abstrac ideat of creating a water fountain that I could place my pennies in. I started with a cardboard box and my collection of pennies.
Since we could only use thread, fabric and paper, this was my initial thought. The second picture is my final project reworked after critique.
