Renderings of Furniture pieces...

Rendering is not easy. There are so many important things that factor in, the right shade, the right marker, the correct color, light source, contrast, shadowing....you get the point. Here are couple of my first attempts of using markers to render....( no picking please = )

Back to the future

second entry: back to the future

I doubt very seriously this is what cars will look like in the future but there is a possibility that cars will have some type of flying devices that will help them fly, if they don't already....

Autonomy project::: Form to Function:

I must admit the autonomy project has beee one of my favorite project this semester...

I guess I should start off by explaining what the idea of autonomy is all about.

SELF govenrn: the freedom and ability to complete and create:

planning and planning and planning...

I'm not sure if David Carlson would like any of these color schemes but I though that I would try combing a few for the sake of practicing color schemes and rendering....

My favorite color scheme is the first one, it is more suddle and natural and less distracting. I also think that this one would work best in the studio space and because it still allows the space to have a comfortable setting for both work and relaxation. The following drawing shows my prospal for the kitchen area. I choose built in wall cabinets, built in oven and microwave. The built in pieces allow more in the space, being the over square footage of the space is so small....
axation.

You know there is a lot of planning that take place when you are designing a space..
here a couple of images , ideation. inspirations, etc that inspired the space for my client David
Carson.

David Carson is design consultant that travels all over the world serving clients and creating unique and great spaces, you can check him out at david.se....

This project was the result of several weeks of planning and development of ideas that helped me reach the final phase of my design project. Through the process of schematic planning and research I was able to develop the living space for my client. Ruling out ideas that would work and others that had to be eliminated the final project was the refection of both my ideas as designer and my client desires and living environment.
The overall space that I designed was taken from shell of the administration building in the IARC building. Using the measurements of the space and certain restrictions ( all permanent fixtures such as windows and doors had to stay) I was given the liberty to create a space that would accommodate the present client and the possibility of others in the future. The original shell of the administration building consist of several existing spaces such as, a lobby area, office area, mail and mail/supply area, and reception area.
