A little bit of water, a little bit of color

This is my first attempts at water colors. I like working with this medium. It very interesting to see how the colors change the composition of a page and the way the viewer see it. However I did learn that it is best to use a waterproof marker if you are using water colors on top of it( because it bleeds).

  1. Girl...your composition is phonomeinal on this assignment...and when you added the colors it just took it to another level. I love the splash of colors...I do feel like I can get an insight of your life looking at this. Can someone say COFFEE?

  2. The bleeding makes it look good to me. It looks intentionally cartoonarized (is that a word)...well I just made it up. Let's go wit it.

  3. Jessica, when I came to your blogged this one immediately popped out to me. And not because it was your newest entry. The colors look so vibrant when your seeing just a thumbnail; I had to click on the image and I can see when you did have some bleeding and I can also see where you used your colored pencils which I find pretty neat.

but your composition is gorgeous and so full, the two drawings I've seen you do lately are amazing and look very very nice.
