Gateway Project

So what does a passage way into time look like? I guess the real question would be, what does it look like when there are five other people involved?

business was slow at work today...so I decided to sketch one of the vignettes on our showroom floor. Umm... rendering with markers can be tricky...but practice make perfect!

Gateway to Irac

This is a exterior model of the space that will we will be using to construct an outdoor passage way. This is a group project ( six total members). Inside the model is our first proposal of our structure. I think that we are off to a good start!

Moments of Vertical Lights

Sketch up model

The intentions of this project was to create a window object that create at least two moments of light. I used cardboard as my primary material and the cut out of triangles to create this moment. My intial design was changed several times to try capture this effect. The direction of where the light actually came through the window was one of the most important factors that controlled how the structure would be created. Although there are several moments that can be indefined in this project, I think that the two most obvious moments of light are in the intersection of the triangles and the light that is cast on the wall.
