When I was a little girl my mom used to sew a lot of my clothes. I remember seeing the McCall's clothing patterns that she used to sew from, they were a lot of fun to look at. The illustrations on the front of the packages were so stylish! I thought that I would use some of these illustrations to help with sketching scale figures and showing posture and movement in the body.

jewerly and parts.....

This assignment was about drawing accessories on our classmates body parts. It was interesting to see some of the cool colors and jewelry pieces that
everyone was wearing. A lot of the colors
inspired my watercolor
palette.

A little bit of water, a little bit of color

This is my first attempts at water colors. I like working with this medium. It very interesting to see how the colors change the composition of a page and the way the viewer see it. However I did learn that it is best to use a waterproof marker if you are using water colors on top of it( because it bleeds).

B2 School !

This layout in my sketch book shows just a little of the chaos that I experienced on my first day back to school. I really enjoyed my time off. It's going to take some time to adjust to being back in classes, catching busses, walking through mobs of people, sitting still for 3 hrs at a time and so on. Over all its' good to be back!

This is my rendition of illuminating text. The text reads like a poem and the images support the story that it tells. The poem is about giving to others in their time of need.

The spring semester is here! I am really excited to be back in the swing of things! To start the semester off, my first assignment was to create a two page spread that demostrates illumating text. I did a little research on this topic...check out what I found!
