Final Design

I am excited that I have completed this design and project. The instructions for this project was to create a luminary out of a minimum of three materials that I used in a previous project. I choose to use red and yellow vellum paper, styrofoam and hot glue. My inspiration for my project was from the Northern Lights. There are several auras that help to compose the shapes, colors and lights of the Northern lights. I translated the colors of the northern lights into my project through the gradation of red and yellow and the abstract shapes of the luminar. Also above are my drawings of the plan view, side elevation, and section view of my luminar.

LUMINESCENCE

I have the exciting task of creating a luminar. Below you will find images, notes and words that have help to inspire me. I can am allowed to use only three materials to complete this project. One of the materials have to be from a previous project. I my initial thoughts were to use plexi glass and PVC pipe. Overall I would like to create a structure that would allow the viewer to have a 360 experience.
